Dr. Kristina Jacobsen, DNP, CNP, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, as well as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Calm Harbor Behavioral Health Services. Kristina attained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu and brings advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and a deeply personal commitment to compassionate mental health care.
Her journey in nursing began with a genuine desire to serve others, a calling that led her to live and work in the rural communities of Hawai‘i. These experiences shaped Kristina’s approach to care and taught her the importance of cultural sensitivity, community connection, and meeting each person where they are.
Her clinical focus is psychiatry and addiction medicine, areas Kristina chose because she believes deeply in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual, regardless of their background, diagnosis, or life circumstances. Mental health is health, and Kristina is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental care to every patient.
Everyone deserves to be seen, understood, and supported. Kristina believes that it is a privilege and an honor to be part of your journey.
